Amazon has the Meringue KitchenAid 600 series stand mixer at this price for a limited time. As the 600 series professional mixer from KitchenAid gradually has become more affordable, it is also starting to sell as much as the Artisan Mixer if not more. It helps that most new Artisan’s are around 250$ themselves! So it’s hard to pass up all the extra room and power you get with the 6 quart professional mixer for the same price.
Other colors are slightly higher in price. There are many choices but the next two cheapest are at 273$ new – the Nickel Pearl KitchenAid 600 Pro Series and the Pearl Metallic KitchenAid 600 Professional Mixer. The 50$ KitchenAid Rebate will last through the holiday’s but I’d buy while it is $249 as the base prices are known to fluctuate.
