Best sale on an Artisan Mixer right now is the KitchenAid 5-quart Empire Red Artisan Mixer; a base price of $260, free shipping and now with the $30 KitchenAid Stand Mixer Rebate, it’s $230 shipped! This is a tremendous deal for a KitchenAid Artisan. Many other colors are available at similar prices; as mentioned prices and deals change quickly. So when you see a mixer color you like at a good price, don’t waver. Depending on the tasks you plan on using your Mixer for, you may need some attachments. They’re as trustworthy as mixer, with everything made in the U.S.A.
The picture link above goes to the Empire Red Artisan Stand Mixer which is one of the lowest prices currently at $230 new shipped! Below are the links to some other artisan mixers colors, all of which are eligible for the $30 KitchenAid Mixer Rebate. I can’t stress enough how often these prices change at Amazon so if you see a good price, don’t wait (Not only do they often times change day-to-day but sometimes throughout any given day too!). Another KitchenAid model is on sale, the KitchenAid Professional 600 Series Onyx Black mixer. If you are a heavy mixer user who needs a more room and strength for larger projects, you want the KitchenAid 600. Over the last few years it has become the favorite over the Artisan, with the price only being marginally higher for the added power and space. The KitchenAid Pro Series has a motor that takes on tougher tasks, like with bread, enabling the user to churn out large amounts of dough at a faster rate. For the KitchenAid Pro Series Stand Mixers, you will see a $50 mail in rebate that results in prices near $300, great value for a Pro.
Either of these products look nice in your kitchen. Like all KitchenAid products you can feel the quality of the product / motor by how much the base of it weighs. Still made in the USA thankfully. Also worth noting, the KitchenAid mixer attachment packs with items like a dough hook, juicer, flat beater, slicer and more.
Some stores may be advertising a KitchenAid Mixer for $199 but do not be fooled, as it’s usually the 4.5 quart KitchenAid with much less power and room than the Artisan. Brick and Mortar stores usually have the KitchenAid Artisan at $300 new or higher. Total rip-offs; bottom line, you won’t find KitchenAid Stand Mixer deals better than what you see on Amazon.
Hmm, I’ll get one while the rebate is active. Thanks for the KitchenAid deal post
Just bought the KitchenAid Tangerine Artisan Mixer for $240, feeling about it. Kind of wanted the 600 series but this should be able to do everything I need. Let the baking commence!
Thanks for the review. My wife wants the KitchenAid Pear Artisan Mixer, guess that’s what I’m going with here lol. Cheers,
Jed
Have been using a White KitchenAid Artisan Stand Mixer for 11 years, love it very much.
Just so everyone knows, the 600 series is $269 (with the $30 rebate) at Costco, so for just $30 more, you can get the 600 series.
Actually, it’s not the 600 Professional series. It is a Costco-only 2010 model. There are some differences, notably that it is 5.5 quart (bigger than the Kitchen Aid Artisan Mixer but smaller than the 6-quart Professional Mixer).
However I have read that people have had problems finding parts for that Costco-only 5.5 Quart Model, and the KitchenAid Attachment Packs are not designed to work with that model.
My wife is already started on holiday season baking with her KitchenAid Stand Mixer
Glad they replaced the plastic gear box with a metal gear box this has made these KitchenAide Stand Mixers much more reliable.
Just received my KitchenAid Artisan Tangerine Stand Mixer the other day and had my first big recipe today!
Wasn’t as heavy as I was expecting which is surprising since there is no white flour here but I didn’t use a lot of flour / dough (relative to the rest of the recipe).
Thanks for the post, found this on google and now getting my KitchenAid Artisan shipped free!
I knew these rebates would be back for Holiday time.
Just over $200 for the KitchenAid Empire Red Artisan Mixer, seems a good time to grab it.
First holiday season with my KitchenAid Artisan Green Apple Mixer and I’m already saving so much time with baking.
Just got the Pistachio color with the $30 KitchenAid Rebate :)
Great mixer but I wouldn’t strain it. Don’t put it through bread or at least make sure whatever you are mixing is not too dry. If you smell the burning fumes you’ll know.
