half off sale on Walt Disney 1964 World’s Fair CDs

What blew me away as I first started to listen to this Disney World Fair set was the quality of the music, considering this is from 1964-1965. Real classic work here for long time Disney admirers, the booklet is a nice piece as well. As for the music though. Disk 1 gives us Progressland, and we get another CD of Progressland with an alternate script. Full-score work, covering the Carousel of Progress. Disk two is Great Moments With Mr. Lincoln. “Battle Hymn of the Republic”. Royal Dano’s dialog is wonderful throughout. Sounds as though the exhibit is returning to Disneyland. Then there is the “It’s a small world” cd, which can be a little redundant with various tracks that are similar, but there is a lot of unique content too including Walt’s opening speech, demo’s, etc. The other ‘bonus’ CD (to go with the alternate Progressland script) is the Magic Skyway. Covers the Ford Exhibit which revolves around a time machine that takes us back to the cavemen in the past and all the way through the future. It’s amazing to think of Disney’s beginning, being in California and having to wow the eastern coast crowd with his work to get them to truly understand the meaning behind Disneyland.

With the current deal on Amazon ( Walt Disney 1964 World’s Fair ), collectors have been quick to snatch up this box set, but 75% of the copies are still left. However, only a few hours left to purchase them at this discounted rate of 21.99$ (normally being 49.99$).
