Most fire pits this price are cheap and won’t last, which you definitely can’t say about this one not to mention the added grill feature. The main purpose seemed to be an attractive fire pit that happened to have a grill grate, but it’s been a boon in terms of the value from the grill since we can have a bonfire at the same time. The Landmann Fire Pit was easy to assemble upon receiving from Amazon, and the most reassuring part was the strength of the legs. They are short and thick thus a sturdy base to rely on. Not to mention the fire pit is just an attractive piece of work that everyone comments on. The pit provides ample room for wood and in turn can heat plenty of people. All of those side holes help both to start the fire and to act as pockets to let the heat out. Have experienced with all sorts of flavored wood chips to alter the taste depending on what I’m cooking.

Cover or move the grill if you are expecting rain. It goes without saying but with the Landmann Big Sky Fire Pit we are advised to keep sand at the bottom so that’s even more reason to avoid the rain.
